The Weeknd has officially joined the billion-dollar touring club.
Live Nation announced Thursday that the singer’s massive After Hours Til Dawn tour — which began in July 2022 and continues through September 2026 — has surpassed $1.004 billion in gross sales. The run has sold approximately 7.55 million tickets across 153 dates, making it one of the highest-grossing tours in history.
The multi-year global trek launched in Philadelphia in summer 2022 after being delayed by the pandemic and has since traveled through North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia. The tour is scheduled to wrap on Sept. 6, 2026, at Estádio do Restelo in Lisbon, Portugal.
Live Nation says the revenue milestone is based on presales, ticket sales, VIP packages and platinum ticket reports collected between March 4, 2022 and Nov. 14, 2025.
“The Weeknd continues to redefine what it means to be a global touring artist,” said Omar Al-joulani, Live Nation’s president of touring. “Crossing the billion-dollar mark is a testament to his staying power and the incredible demand for his live show. Year after year, he sells out stadiums around the world, and the ‘After Hours ’Til Dawn’ tour now stands as one of the biggest of all time — a true reflection of his artistry and impact.”
The tour’s scale reflects ongoing demand for blockbuster live entertainment even as consumer spending and ticket pricing remain hot-button issues across the industry. The Weeknd’s shows have leaned heavily into elaborate production, including an expansive set design inspired by the singer’s After Hours and Dawn FM eras, helping fuel high fan interest.
As the tour heads into its final year, the billion-dollar mark places The Weeknd among a small circle of artists who have reached that level of worldwide ticket sales — underscoring his continued rise as one of live music’s most powerful draws.
