The War on Drugs are expanding their live plans for 2026, unveiling a new batch of U.S. headlining shows while continuing to build anticipation for their next studio album.
The newly confirmed dates are set to kick off on September 18 in Wilmington, DE, at The Queen. From there, the band will make stops at North Carolina’s Asheville Yards on September 21, followed by a performance in Birmingham on September 23 at Avondale Brewing Company. The final show is slated for October 2 in Las Vegas at The Pearl.
The newly announced shows add off of The War on Drugs schedule that includes multiple festival appearances. The band is confirmed to perform at Bourbon and Beyond in Louisville as well as the Austin City Limits Festival and Sea.Hear.Now.
Tickets for the newly announced concerts will be available beginning Friday, May 15 at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster.
The tour news arrives as The War on Drugs prepare to release their first album in roughly five years. While details about the record remain limited, frontman Adam Granduciel shared in a recent interview with Guitar.com that the band is “almost done making a record, and we’re close to the end,” signaling that a formal announcement may be on the horizon.
